Kwenyan Professionals work with several of New Jersey’s most common health insurance providers, including NJ Medicaid (Horizon, United, etc.), Medicare, Emblem, Aetna PPO, Cigna, Beacon Health, Value Option, Tricare, Empire Plan, NJ Horizon Health, and NJ Horizon Blue Cross/Blue Shield. If you do not see your insurance company listed here, contact your health insurance provider or consult your policy information prior to scheduling an appointment with us to see if your provider offers any coverage or reimbursement for out-of-network services and how much your copay will be.
Our rates are determined based upon the outlined fees of each insurance plan, and we offer a sliding fee for individuals who are unemployed or do not have a health insurance provider. We do expect payments of fees (such as required copays or co-insurance) at the time of your appointment, before the session begins. If you are planning on using your health insurance benefits, we will happily file the insurance claims for you, and we will honor any agreements or requirements outlined by health insurance providers that have specific reimbursement restrictions and claim requirements. If you are not using a Managed Care/PPO/HMO insurance plan and thus wish to file the claim on your own, we do expect full payment at the time of your appointment before your session begins, and we will provide you with a statement of the services rendered. For clients who have established a good payment record over a period of three months, monthly payment arrangements can be made to accommodate you.
